Handicraft Artisans for Allotment of Stalls in
GANDHI SHILP BAZAR |
In order to provide marketing opportunity to handicrafts artisans in all parts of the country on continuous basis series of Craft Bazars under the name of “Gandhi Shilp Bazar” has been launched from 11.2.2006 under which at least one Craft Bazar is in operation in one or the other part of the country every single day of the year. Artisans registered with the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), who are interested to participate in the above events under Gandhi Shilp Bazar are required to submit applications for the events of their choice on plain papers in the Handicrafts Marketing & Service Extension Centers or any other Field Office of the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), in which they are registered. Priority shall be assigned to those artisans who apply 90 days before the commencement of event applied for. In addition to above, Self Help Group under the Scheme of AHVY of this office may also apply to concerned HM&SEC/Regional Office for participation in Gandhi Shilp Bazar. Allotment will be made to 30 Cluster Group in each Gandhi Shilp Bazar (per Region 5 Cluster Group) The organizations interested in organizing Gandhi Shilp Bazars may submit proposals in the prescribed format to the Regional Directors with in 15th May 2011. Preference will be given to the Central and State Govt. Corporation & Agencies.
